This fine bird's-eye plan of the city and fortifications of Cuneo and the surrounding countryside was added to the second edition of Mr. Rapin de Thoyras's History of England. A decorative cartouche encloses a key to the map, locating the castle, churches, batteries, government buildings, and mills. Engraved by Basire.

Issued folding on a sheet with a fleur-de-lis watermark. There is a small rust spot, light dampstaining in the left blank margin, and a fold separation extending 1" into the map at bottom that has been closed on verso with archival tape.
