This map is centered approximately on Legnica (Lignitz) and extends to include the cities of Lublin, Jawor, and Lwówek Śląski. At top left is a handsome panoramic view of the fortified city of Legnica and an ornate coat of arms. The map is dedicated to Georgius Rodulfus, the duke of Silesia, by Ionas Scultetus. Latin text on verso.

Condition: A

A dark impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark, a bit of printer's ink residue, and several spots in the blank margins.
