This lovely bird's-eye view of Avalon Town on Santa Catalina Island features the distinct pictorial style typical of the graphic works from this period. The view shows the Casino, piers, and extends up the mountain to the Bird Park above the Golf Course. It is surrounded by vignette views with Neptune and a mermaid in full color in the corners. The map self-folds with title "Souvenir Santa Catalina Island Map and Guide." The verso contains another map and a directory with places of interest listed by category. Published by the L.C.B. Co., and dated 1948.
