This is a handsome map covering the region from the Nile Delta to Lebanon. It shows the extent of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Roman times. An elegantly designed title cartouche fills the Mediterranean Sea.

Condition: A

Contemporary outline color in the map with later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a small fleur-de-lis watermark. The map has been professionally remargined at top and right.
