Handsome chart of Transylvania, present-day parts of Hungary and Romania. There is nice detail of forested areas, mountain ranges, rivers and towns. The elegant cartouche is topped with a crest and flanked with female figures. Dutch text on verso, published between 1642-64.

Condition: A
A dark impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with wide margins and a large watermark of the god Atlas. There is printer's ink residue and a printer's crease adjacent to the centerfold at bottom.
