"Westro-Goth-Lande ou sont les Provinces de Westro-Goth-Lande, Dalie, et Vermelande", Sanson/Mariette

This sharply engraved map details the area of southern Sweden from the west coast to the lakes of Vanern and Vattern. It is centered roughly on Linkoping (Lidkioping) and Lake Vanern, with Falkenberg in the south and Kolen in the north. A dramatic hunting scene forms the title cartouche. Published by Pierre Mariette at Rue St. Jacques a l'Esperance.

Contemporary outline color with later color in the cartouche on a sheet with a watermark of the Royal French arms and a few minor damp stains in the blank margin, away from the image.
