This is a decorative and detailed map of the southern part of the United States, Mexico, and Central America. The map is filled with finely engraved detail throughout, particularly in Texas (Cenis), New Mexico, and Arizona with lots on information on Native American tribes, missions, and topography. Nuovo Leon lays in the southern portion of Texas along the Rio Grande River. The cartouche features a lovely landscape with flowers and native dwellings.

Full contemporary color on paper with a three moons watermark, minor printer's ink residue, and a small worm track perpendicular to centerfold that has been archivally repaired.
