It was issued by the state's Department of Forests and Waters. The key and tables to the left of the map identify state parks, state forest picnic areas, state forest monuments, historical parks, observations towers, and state forest land. There is excellent detail of the state's roadways. Self-folds into a pamphlet with the title "Pennsylvania's State Forests and Parks." The verso includes views and descriptions of several notable locations.
