A handsome map of northern Italy centered roughly on Milan and Lake Como. The map is filled with details of towns, roads, and topographical details, including the Po River system. The title cartouche features Mars, the Roman god of war, and Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture and the harvest.

A dark impression with full contemporary color, light soiling, a couple of tiny worm holes, and several small worm tracks that have been repaired with minor loss of image.
