This uncommon map was issued in Walker’s Atlas of Massachusetts and depicts Nantucket and the eastern edge of Edgartown (Martha's Vineyard). Drawn on a scale of 1 inch per mile, the map locates cities, towns, churches, cemeteries, railroads and roads. Contour lines are shown in light brown at 100 foot intervals.

There is some light toning and a small dampstain confined to the right blank margin. Stab holes from a previous binding are visible in the left blank margin.
