A detailed chart of the Pacific Ocean extending from western North and South America west to Russia, China, the East Indies, Australia and New Zealand. The coastlines of New Guinea and Australia are still incomplete, and the tracks of Captain Cook are shown throughout with a note off Hawaii indicating his death there in 1779. Engraved by Cooper and published by Longman, Hurst, Rees & Orme in London.

On watermarked paper dated 1811 with some faint foxing. The sheet has been backed with tissue to repair two 1.25" edge tears adjacent to the bottom centerfold.
