Strongly engraved map centered on Paris that shows the path of the solar eclipse. The extent of the eclipse is shown via three lines and a shaded area. Three vignettes showing how the sun appeared at maximum eclipse from London, Orleans and Boulogue.

Condition: B+

Very light toning with a few binding holes in left blank margin and a tiny tear at bottom right. Narrow right margin, as issued.
