This is the Valck & Schenk edition of Jansson's map of Cambridgeshire and the surrounding region. Divided into hundreds, the map locates numerous towns and villages, as well as the larger cities of Cambridge, Huntington, and Ely. Roads, rivers, lakes and forests are depicted throughout. The corners are arrayed with 24 armorials of both local nobles and colleges which are held aloft by putti. In the bottom corners are the title cartouche, flanked by scholars, and a scale of miles. Blank verso.

A nice impression with contemporary color and light offsetting.
