This splashy pictorial map depicts California's famous Wine Country as it might appear from the vantage of a hot air balloon. The map spans from Redwood Valley south to Napa and identifies Ukiah, Hopland, Cloverdale, Geyserville, Healdsburg, Sonoma, Sebastopol, and more. Its title cartouche takes the form of a hot air balloon, and there is a bunch of grapes on the compass rose at bottom left. It was designed by Ron Morales and issued as a pamphlet by Graphic Concepts Co., based in Santa Rosa (pictured on the map). The map is similar to another pamphlet designed by Morales and John Born, published in 1979. On verso, there is a reference map of the whole state and a table that provides information on wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake counties.
