This splendidly decorative map covers the Muese River valley including Namur and Liege, with west oriented at top of map. It is exquisitely engraved with an elaborate cartouche and scale of miles. Latin text on verso, published in either 1595 or 1601.

References: Van den Broecke #64.

Condition: B+

A nice impression on paper with the horn coat of arms watermark found on many Ortelius maps. There is light soiling, much of it confined to the margins.
