This decorative map of Central America depicts the majority of Mexico through Costa Rica, and extends to include part of the southern coastline of the U.S. to Florida and Cuba. Settlements, rivers, mountains and even volcanoes are illustrated. The title cartouche features a large architectural structure surmounted by weaponry, with Native Indians trading with a European on the right and a sailing ship in the background.

A crisp impression on watermarked paper with a Strasbourg Lily. There is light printer's ink residue and a hint of toning along centerfold.
