This map of Southeast Asia focuses on the French possessions of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The French possessions are filled with tiny images of the people, animals, sites, and resources of the region. On verso are photographic images and French text relating to Indochina.

This map was part of a series of 8 pictorial maps of French possessions around the world, published by the pharmaceutical company Vichy Laboratories to promote their products "Neutroses-Vichy" and "Vegerenyl," which are advertised on verso. Neutroses-Vichy was an antacid created to treat upset stomach, and Vegerenyl was purported to treat ailments affecting the kidney and bladder; however the Vegerenyl ad on verso is partially obscured by an ink stamp indicating that production of the product had been suspended. Printed by Petit Jean.
