This handsome map of Europe delineates its ancient political divisions and place names. The map extends to include Iceland, all the lands bordering the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea. It is decorated with a fine title cartouche at top left.

Condition: B+

A sharp impression on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark, contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouche. There is a light stain in the North Sea and a long diagonal extraneous crease.
