An attractive plan of the city of Lyon, situated at the confluence of the Rhone and Saone rivers. The street grid pattern is depicted, and the city is divided into six wards including La Guillotiere, Les Brotteaux, Perrache, Champvert, Vaise, and La Croix Rousse. Many important buildings and sites are identified with a key to public buildings, military prisons, hospitals, and more at bottom left. Features an inset of the surrounding region at top left and an extensive street index along the right border. Published in both Paris and New York. Folds into marbled boards (4.7 x 6.5").
