This handsome map shows the historical episcopate in France with ancient place names and political boundaries. A large inset illustrates ancient Great Britain.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There is one small worm holes in the Bay of Biscay and marginal soiling.
