Splendid little map featuring the Strait of Magellan. The map is centered on a large, finely engraved, compass rose and further embellished with strapwork title and distance scale cartouches. Latin text on verso, published between 1607-21.

A sharp impression with light toning and foxing confined to the blank margins, and a faint dampstain in the top margin.
