This uncommon 12-page report by George M. Robeson, Secretary of the Navy, contains the regulations for uniform dress for the Navy's various ranks on different occasions. The text is accompanied by 9 single-page plates (8 in color) illustrating insignia, sword belts, shoulder loops/straps and more. The plates were drawn by C.K. Stellwagen and lithographed by J.F. Gedney. Original paper boards.

Condition: B+

The plates are very good to near fine with some occasional color offsetting and very minor foxing. Text is mostly clean and bright and the endpapers are partially loose. Covers have some light staining and soiling.
