Handsome copper engraved map of the regions filled with ancient place names, mountains, forests and rivers, with the Euphrates River prominently shown. The decorative title cartouche features a shell.

Condition: A
A crisp impression on a bright sheet with the watermarks of a Strasbourg bend & lily and the initials "DWR." There is an extraneous crease adjacent to the centerfold with a very short archivally repaired separation, and a couple of tears along the edges of the sheet have been closed with tape.
