This map focuses on the region between the Baltic and Black Seas and is filled with ancient place names. There is good detail of the political boundaries, cities, river systems, mountains, and forested areas in the region. Engraved by J. Somer. Dated 1655 but published in 1667.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There are extraneous creases adjacent to the centerfold, as well as a hint of toning along the centerfold and edges of the sheet.
