This fine map of Provence is crisply engraved and detailed throughout with hundreds of tiny towns, political boundaries, and pictorial mountains. Adorned with a decorative title cartouche. Printed with a crack in the copper plate, leaving a crescent-shaped mark across lower border. Engraved by Robert Cordier.

A nice impression with contemporary color on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark, minor toning along the centerfold, and marginal soiling. There are archival repairs to a number of separations along the centerfold.
