This handsome two-sheet English atlas map of the continent features plenty of place names and nice topographical detail. The mythical Lake Parima or del Dorado alias White Sea is located in Spanish Guiana. There are conjectural rivers and numerous interesting notations dotting the landscape.
Contemporary outline color with light dampstains that cross into the map's borders along the edges of the sheets. Both sheets have centerfold separations in the bottom blank margin, and the lower sheet has some minor scattered foxing. The first image is a composite image - the map is in two separate sheets.
