This 8-page issue from 21 February 1862 features a map of Hampton Roads, showing Fortress Monroe and the camps of the Union and Rebel soldiers. The routes of the gunboats at night and the Rebel tugs are delineated. This map was published just two weeks before the Battle of Hampton Roads. References: Wooldridge #262. This 12-page issue from 13 May 1862 centers on the battlefield from the Battle of Williamsburg, which took place just one week prior to the publication of this issue.
