Uncommon small map featuring California as an island in addition to a rather imaginative Pacific Northwest showing a large inlet with an attached Onbekend Land that stretches across the Pacific, perhaps all the way to Asia. The Mississippi River has a tributary loosely drawn from Lahontan's Riviere Longue, here named the Moingona R. The map is filled with minutely engraved place names, and decorated with a simple compass rose.
