There is great detail in this map of Luxembourg, showing roads connecting the fortified cites and many small towns. The map extends west to Namur in Belgium, south to Thionville in France, and east to Trier and Saarlouis in Germany. The decorative cartouche includes a river god, a warrior, and the double-tailed lion on Luxembourg's coat of arms.

A nice impression with contemporary color in the map and later color in the cartouche, on watermarked paper with some minor soiling in the margins.
