A densely detailed map of northern Italy illustrating the seat of war in northern Italy during the War of the Spanish Succession. The map extends west to parts of France and Switzerland, and south as far as Florence. The locations of battle sites, occupied cities, army camps, and the marching path of the Imperial and French armies are marked on the map. Engraved by Emanuel Ebert. Printed on two joined sheets, as issued.
