This rare map of Europe appeared in the last edition of Heylin's Cosmography. The map extends to include Iceland and is well engraved with plenty of place names and topographical detail. It is embellished with a small title cartouche held aloft by two putti. Although there is no engraver's signature, the map may have been designed by Robert Morden. Thanks to research from Mead T. Cain, we now know of a contemporary advertisement for the 1703 edition of Heylin's Cosmography that stated that Morden was to be the author of the new maps.

A crisp impression on a sheet with a six-sided star watermark. There is light offsetting, a few minor spots, and a couple printer's crease around the centerfold.
