This large, handsome map covers the southern portion of Mexico and Central America from Chiapa through Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. The map presents a very attractive and detailed picture of the major watersheds and mountains in the region. Drawn by L. Hebert, engraved by Neele, and published by Cadell & Davies and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, & Brown.

Contemporary color on a sturdy sheet with a "J. Whatman 1810" watermark, faint offsetting, and minor toning along the centerfold and sheet's edges.
