A. Midget Map of Long Beach California [on verso] Motor and Relief Map of Southern California, by Pacific Southwest Trust & Savings Bank, dated 1925, black & white (8.6 x 12.6"). This miniature pocket map shows the city of Long Beach extending from the Pacific Ocean north to Compton. The red shaded area reveals the "proven portion of the Long Beach Oil Field" and the roads in red overprinting indicate traffic arteries. Includes an inset of the Alamitos Bay District with a street index flanking the map at left and right. The Motor and Relief Map of Southern California on verso is produced with a remarkable three-dimensional quality. Folds into green paper wrappers (2.1 x 4.0"). Condition: Fine, issued folding. (A+)

B. Security Trust & Savings Bank Automobile Road Map of Los Angeles Region [on verso] Map of the City of Long Beach California, by Clason Map Co., dated 1925, printed color (25.6 x 15.8"). This map of southern California extends from the greater Los Angeles region east to Big Bear and San Jacinto showing the road system. A legend further identifies paved roads, dirt roads, and “Poor or Private Roads (Doubtful for automobiles)." The verso contains a large Map of the City of Long Beach California with inset "Annexation Map of Long Beach City Boundaries.” Self-folding (3.5 x 8.5"). Condition: Issued folding with several tiny splits at the fold junctions and an edge chip at top that just touches the border. There are some manuscript notations on the verso map. (B+)
