Attractive plan of the city of Kyoto when it was the capital of the country. The block pattern of the city is laid out and is encircled by the Kamo River. Engraved by J. van Schley and decorated by a compass rose with north oriented to the left. Alternate Dutch title appears below the map.

Issued folding with a light dampstain only visible around the edges of map image and minor offsetting.
