Compiled by Julie Yeo of Antiques of the Orient, Singapore. This well-illustrated catalog of Asian maps presents the story of the mapping of the continent of Asia. While it is not a complete carto-bibliography, it is still a great reference source on maps of the continent, and virtually the only source to describe the history of Asian commerce, colonization, and exploration through maps from Ptolemy to the early 19th century. 88 pp., soft covers.
There are several pages of loose text as is common with this reference, and some minor toning appears along the edges. Cover is lightly sunned.
