This map was issued as a supplement to the April 5, 1917 issue of Motor Age magazine. It is color-coded to identify points of driving interest including major scenic and historical areas, arid regions, deserts, and national parks/monuments. The map features two large circles showing "Central Touring Circle - 500 Mile Radius from Chicago" and "Western Scenic Circle - 600 Mile Radius from Salt Lake City." Keys at bottom identify 15 locations on "America's Tour Grounds" as well as the principal highways. Complied from data furnished by the Official Automobile Blue Book, Highway Associations, and U.S. Department of the Interior. No past sales records located and only three institutional examples located on OCLC.
