Very detailed and finely engraved chart shows the main islands plus the eastern coastline of Denmark and a little of Sweden. The superb cartouche features a large vignette depicting the approach to Copenhagen with ships in the harbor. It is further adorned with the royal arms and a scene of merfolk frolicking in the sea.

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on watermarked paper with a printer's crease that runs parallel to the centerfold at bottom. There are damp stains and soiling confined to the sheet's edges, well away from map image.
