This handsome map covers the central portion of South America's western coastal region. It spans from above the Equator to below the Tropic of Capricorn, features good coastal detail, and names several native peoples. The map is adorned with a decorative cartouche and four distance scales.

Condition: B+

Contemporary color on a sheet watermarked "Tamizier" with light offsetting and toning along the centerfold. There are damp stains confined to the edges of the sheet.
