Finely engraved map of present-day Mongolia, northeast China and Korea. Hokkaido (Jeso-Gasima) appears just above the cartouche, which is finely engraved in the elaborate baroque style featuring leaves, flowers, and a teapot. Many cities, towns, and harbors appear in fine detail.

References:

Condition: A

A nice impression with contemporary color and the watermark of a Maltese cross encircled in rosary beads. There is minor toning along the centerfold and light damp stains along the bottom edge of the sheet.
