This finely engraved map on Mercator's Projection is centered on the Pacific Ocean. The map depicts the physical characteristics of the earth and shows only basic political detail. Australia is Nouvelle Hollande and is completely blank in the interior with just a few place names on the coast. Tasmania is separate.
A crisp impression issued folding on paper with heart and rosary beads watermarks, some light offsetting, and minor toning along the top edge if the sheet. There is a binding trim in the right blank margin.
