A small map of the young United States, reflecting the recent acquisition of Louisiana Territory. Mexico is in control of the Southwest with a named Texas. The entire northwest portion of continent is labeled "Independent Countries" with several Indian tribes noted. Alaska is roughly in the correct shape, and the discoveries of Hearn and MacKenzie are reflected in the north.
