A lovely view of the paradise Daphne, today's Harbiye and a suburb of Antioch (Antakya), created on the basis of classical sources, including Ammianus, Strabo and Philostratus. According to mythology, Apollo attempted to make the wood nymph Daphne his lover here. Latin text on verso.

A bright sheet with several small, faint stains and professional repairs to a centerfold separation at bottom, a couple of tiny worm tracks along the centerfold, and a hole in the top blank margin.
