This handsome map portrays the Eastern Mediterranean from Rome through Asia Minor and the Holy Land. The route of Apostle Paul is charted from Sidon to Rome. Panels of Biblical scenes at top and bottom show the major events of his travels. Dutch text on verso. This map was created by Jacob Savry, circa 1648.

A nice impression, issued folding and now flattened with professional repairs to separations along the centerfold and to two chips confined to the blank margins. The right and left margins have been professionally extended a bit to accommodate framing.
