This superb bird's-eye view shows the city of Maastricht bisected by the Maas River. Streets, buildings, and fortifications are shown in great detail with just a few key locations identified, including the Romanesque Basilica of St. Servatius, the Gothic church of Saint John, and the town hall. The city's coat of arms is at top right.
