This engraving is dominated by two Native Americans, with a view of the village of Potosi and the famous mountain of silver in the background. This engraving was published in Carel Allard's Orbis Habitabilis Oppida et Vestitus, the first town book to incorporate both maps and costume plates of cities from all over the world, including New York, Paris, Rome, Mexico, Jerusalem, Bantam, and many more.
