"Map of St. Louis and Suburbs",

This highly detailed map of St. Louis was published by O. Schrowang and depicts the street grid pattern and street car lines in red overprinting. The map extends to include some of the emerging suburbs and prominently depicts Forest Park, Tower Grove Park, and the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Includes a numbered key for the various street car lines along with a detailed street index at bottom. Blank verso. Folds into an original printed envelope (3.7 x 7.3") advertising the St. Louis Transfer Co. and “Seeing St. Louis” Automobile Tours with an illustration of an early multi-person tour vehicle. There are no previous sales records or institutional examples per OCLC.
