The major cities included are Lugo, Oviedo, Leon, Burgos, Palencia, Lerma, and Valladoilid. The coat of arms above the decorative cartouche is held by two fierce lions. Further embellishing the map are a compass rose and a fancy scale of miles cartouche with an armillary sphere. Latin text on verso, published between 1640-55.
