This beautifully engraved map covers Denmark and southern Sweden. The map extends to show parts of Northern Germany and Poland to the Gulf of Gdansk. Numerous towns and cities are identified, including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Hamburg, and Norrkoping. The region's islands are named, including Selandia and Gotid Insula (Gotland). A ship sails through the Skagerrak, and in the Baltic, there is a sea monster and a ship at full sail. There is a distance scale at bottom right. Published by Johannes Bussemacher and engraved by Henricus Nagel. German text on verso.
