This handsome map covers the northeastern part of England. It is filled with information on the topography, forests, cities, and towns. The map is beautifully engraved in Mercator's characteristic style with a stipple engraved sea, flourishing calligraphy and is embellished with a large title cartouche. French text on verso.

Condition: B+

A crisp impression on lightly toned paper with a small coat of arms watermark, a long vertical crease, and a few marginal spots of foxing.
