A superb and very uncommon engraving of the solar system with the six known planets orbiting the sun. The system is encircled by the signs of the Zodiac and surrounded in a cloud background. In the corners are depictions of different theories of the solar system, while clouds, armillary spheres, and stars fill the background. Title at bottom in both Latin and German. Drawn by Melchoir Feusslinus and engraved by I. A. Friderich.
